GPM to Install Plastic Shields in its Efforts to Protect Both Customers and Associates

RICHMOND, VA— GPM Investments, LLC’s first priority has always been to ensure the environment in which their associates work, and their customers shop is clean and safe. The installation of plastic shields to protect customers and associates during this unprecedented time will begin immediately. Made in the US, these barriers are intended to safeguard the associates and customers from coughs, sneezes and other potential sources of exposure to COVID-19.

This installation is not the first step that GPM has taken to ensure that safety and health are top of mind in their stores. Other actions taken recently include:
- Regular cleaning and disinfecting of frequently touched surfaces
- Emphasis on routine washing and sanitizing hands
- Providing disposable gloves for store employees to wear
- Practicing social distancing inside the store
- Closure of dine in areas in foodservice stores
- Suspension of refillable cups and mugs
- Allowing contact-free merchandise deliveries whenever possible
